Our client in Stockton is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team and take their accounting operations to the next level. What You'll Be Doing:

• Overseeing day-to-day accounting operations, including month-end close and reconciliations
• Managing financial reporting and ensuring accuracy and compliance
• Leading and mentoring a small team of junior accountants
• Analyzing financial data and providing strategic insights for decision-making
• Managing job costing processes and ensuring proper allocation of costs
• Assisting with audits and maintaining internal controls

What You Bring to the Table:

• 5+ years of experience in accounting, with a strong understanding of GAAP
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis)
• Experience with job costing and cost accounting (preferred)
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage and mentor a team
• Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and organizational skills
• A proactive and self-motivated approach to work
